BBAA - Board Member Authority

The Board shall transact all business at regular or special meetings and no member may act in the name of the Board or speak for the Board unless authorized to do so.

In performing its duties, the Board shall act as a unit. All questions shall be settled by formal vote. It should be emphasized that individually and independently, Board members have no more authority than any other citizen of the town unless some duty within the law has been delegated to them by action of the Board.
