Remote Learning Plans
The first 3 days schools are closed due to adverse weather conditions will be traditional no-school or ‘snow’ days. After the 3rd day of schools being closed, we plan to implement Remote Learning Days when adverse weather conditions require schools to be closed. All remote learning will be asynchronous, meaning students will not be required to login or take part in virtual meetings at a specific time. Should there be widespread power outages, we will not have remote learning. Our school staff understand that access to remote learning is not guaranteed and we will do our best to meet individual family and staff needs as they arise.
- As we near the 3rd traditional no-school/snow day, non-perishable meals will be provided to those families indicating need, in preparation for the possibility of Remote Learning Days.
- All communications announcing a school closure will clearly specify if there is a planned Remote Learning Day.
- Building administration will communicate information to staff and families via email.
- All IEP and 504 meetings will be canceled and will be rescheduled.
