FHS Science Teacher Attends American Astronomical Society Meeting
Some amazing news from FHS—Science teacher Eden Pfahler was selected to be a NASA astrophysics researcher through the NASA/IPAC Teacher Archive Research Program (NITARP) as part of their 2025 class and recently attended the winter meeting of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) to meet with her team to start work on their year-long project.
Eden will be working with Caltech/IPAC educator Dr. Luisa Rebull and a team of three other teachers in the NITARP program. They will present their project results at the 2026 AAS winter meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. We look forward to learning more about Eden's project and the team's findings!
