FPS netTrekker Setup directions


netTrekker d.i. recommends that each user create an account for themselves through the online registration process. Usernames may not be duplicated; however, passwords may be repeated. Students, teachers, and parents have the ability to create their own usernames and passwords from the registration page. Please use the following standards based on the type of user you are creating. Sticking with a username convention will allow for easier usage tracking that will ultimately help justify funding the resource from year to year.

Preferred Naming Convention:

Student user: First initial and Last name followed by graduation year. (Ex. jdoe2010) John Doe graduating in 2010

Parent user: First initial and Last name followed by "PARENT" (Ex. jdoePARENT) Julie Doe as parent

Teacher user: First initial and Last name followed by building. (Ex. jdoeFMS) Jane Doe working at Falmouth Middle School

FMS= Falmouth Middle School; FHS= Falmouth High School; PM= Plummer-Motz School

To create usernames, please go to http://school.nettrekker.com and click Register.

NOTE: Use the following keywords to find correct building.

"falmouth" for both the Middle School and High School

"plummer" for Plummer-Motz School

FPS Teachers need to send an email to Trey Bachner for instructions on how to modify thier profile to take on the role of "Teacher" in netTrekker.
