Falmouth School Board
Workshop Meeting
Monday, November 7, 2005

1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Falmouth High School Room #153. Present were Chairman Beppie Cerf, Karen Farber, Beth Franklin, Kathy Hillman-Reed, Scott Lydick, Mark Terison, Student Representatives Rachel Bennett and Chris Murry, Superintendent George Entwistle and approximately 10 others (Cote out).

2. Legislative Update

Issues discussed with Representatives Gerald Davis and John Brautigam and Senator Karl Turner included the future of Child Development Services, EPS (Essential Programs and Services), school district consolidation planning, and other topics on the agenda for the Education Committee of the Maine legislature.

3. Executive Session: Mrs. Cerf with a second from Ms. Franklin moved the Board go into Executive Session as per 1 M.R.S.A. § 405 (6) (A) to discuss the performance evaluation process for the Superintendent of Schools. The motion passed 6-0 and the Board went into Executive Session at 8:24 p.m.

4. Adjournment: At 9:40 p.m. the Board came out of Executive Session and adjourned.
