  1. “Student Voice” Text Rendering/Discussion – Falmouth High School Commons. Mrs. Hutton introduced the text discussion activity. The text used was, “Students as Co-constructors of the Learning Experience and Environment: Youth Engagement and High School Reform” by Francine Joselowsky (Annenberg Institute for School Reform, Summer 2005). The purpose of the activity was for student leaders, school leaders and school board members to engage in cooperative learning and dialogue – specifically examining the power of student voice in high school reform. A student forum is planned for early March to allow students to identify agenda items that they wish to bring forward to the Community Dialogue on March 24, 2006.

As well, she introduced the group to the site where they can access all components of the plan. The initial budget proposal for 2006-07 for Technology was presented with questions and answers following Ms. Palfrey’s presentation.
  1. Adjournment: At 9:36 p.m. the Board adjourned.
