Hello there! I'm Miss Bush. This is my ninth year as a School Counselor at Lunt. I still remember when I just started working here at Lunt, though. I was brand new and didn't know anyone, but all the students, staff, and parents made me feel very welcome. I really appreciated that! What a great year we had together in guidance last year. Just thinking about it makes me look forward to working with all our students, teachers and parents in the new year ahead.

When I meet new students at Lunt, I tell them about the strange looking tank I carry around on my shoulder. If I've visited your classroom, then you know the tank is called an oxygen tank, and it has oxygen inside.

I'm happy to be working at Lunt because I believe helping young children learn how to make good choices, and how to express their needs and feelings in a safe, respectful, yet effective way will help them now, and throughout their lives.

I also enjoy helping children discover all the special things about themselves, and about the people in the world around them - like their interests, their dreams, and their abilities. As a matter of fact, I enjoy helping kids discover and appreciate their abilities SO much that I created a "Can Do!" website! My other interests include painting, writing stories, gardening, and collecting sea glass on our lovely Maine beaches.
