High School volunteers are needed to assist in with these programs for younger students. Ongoing office help is needed at the Community Programs Office.
Falmouth Food Pantry .	Mrs. Blanchette dblanchette@fps.k12.me.us	immediate	The Wayside Food Rescue, which supplies food to all food pantries in Cumberland County, is having a food drive at 3 Shaw's locations on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 8:00-4:00. Volunteers are needed at the Falmouth Shaw's - these would be 2 hour shifts. Three team of at least 2 people are needed all day.

Anyone who is interested in the textile arts, such as knitting, weaving, silk painting, quilting, sewing, needlework etc. would enjoy this day! The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th. Volunteers will be needed noon to around 4:30pm.

We are also looking for juniors and Senior interested in working one-on one with students in the multi age classroom. Volunteers are needed during homework club for fifth grade students 2:30 -3:30 T, W or TH.

Wisdom Tea is a monthly gathering for Tea, dessert and conversation from 6:30 -7:30 pm. with residents in assisted living and local community members.

STRIVE	Contact: Kristina Smalley ksmalley@PSLservices.org		The Strive program seeks to address the many issues faced by young adults (ages 15-24) with disabilities. Areas of focus include: improving academic skills, developing leadership potential, improving economic opportunities through continuing education, enhancing or upgrading work skills, integrating literary and social skills into occupational/vocational opportunities Volunteers are needed to assist at the STRIVE Friday Night Socials. Every Friday from 6:00-9:00pm at the Strive center on Foden Road. These events offer teens and young adults (ages 15-24) with developmental disabilities the opportunity to have fun and interact with their peers. Volunteers are also needed in the STRIVE used bookstore. Assistance is needed sorting and organizing books.
