PORTLAND ARTS & TECHNOLOGY HIGH SCHOOL (PATHS)

Portland Arts and Technology High School (PATHS) courses are open to all students in grades 9-12.  PATHS courses are designed both for career bound and college bound students who are serious about gaining new skills and knowledge through applied learning.  Classroom instruction, extensive labs, and community-based internships combine to give students real life experience in career directions.  PATHS classes are an extension of the high school schedule, counting towards graduation as any other elective class.  Students who would like to visit PATHS classes should see their guidance counselor for more information.  Parents who are interested in visiting PATHS should telephone the PATHS Guidance Department at 874-8166 to schedule a visit or inquire about Open House dates.

Participation in PATHS courses requires a commitment of four periods every day.  Interested students are encouraged to meet with their guidance counselor to discuss a proposed course schedule that would include participation in a PATHS program.
