Welcome to the O.T. Website! 
Occupational Therapy is a profession that helps individuals achieve what may seem to be insurmountable obstacles, to facilitate successful participation in  their chosen occupations – whether it be a job, activities of daily living, community access, or, being a student!

In the school setting, Occupational Therapy is considered a support service to assist the student, identified through Special Education, in accessing her education – this is per the federal law generally known as IDEA, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.  Other students may be identified through another part of the law, Section 504, wherein the student has a specific medical diagnosis which impacts  her ability to learn in an academic setting.
