Service Learning is a method of teaching and learning that challenges students to identify, research, propose, and implement solutions to real needs in their school and community as part of their curriculum. Projects address local, regional, national, and global issues. It is a form of experiential education that integrates meaningful community service where learning occurs through a cycle of action and reflection.
