The school board voted to have the last student day on Friday, June 14th, and it will be an early release day. Students will be dismissed at noon.

 

 Pennies For Plants  

Thanks to the generosity of the students, parents, and staff we raised $2950.50 for the Elementary Learning Garden!

This spring Falmouth Elementary School staff and volunteers will begin the construction of a new hands-on learning garden. Students and parents have supported this community wide learning and recreational opportunity by donating their pennies and other coins to our school. The donations will be used to purchase seeds, soil, lumber and other  garden materials.

DISMISSAL REMINDER-Beginning Monday, February 25, 2013, we will not be dismissing students from the main office after 2:15 unless it is for an appointment or in an extreme emergency, which will be noted for our records. We need to be concerned for the safety of all of our students, and feel that an early dismissal simply for convenience is not acceptable. Not only is it disruptive to our security and our dismissal procedures, but it is also disconcerting to children who repeatedly miss the closure of the school day.

If you are picking up a child at the end of the day students are dismissed at 3:05. “Pick-ups” will be called to the small gym prior to the first buses being called.

 

         Please read the following directions carefully:

1.    You may park behind the high school, in the parent lot across from the main entrance of the school, or in the staff lot located at the gym entrance.

2.    Parents/Guardians will gather in the foyer outside of the gym, where staff members will be available to dismiss your child.

3.    The children will be waiting in the multipurpose room or hallway and will be called to the gym foyer for pick-up.

PARENTS OF STUDENTS IN GRADES 3-5 at FES will continue to use the Portal for families to access their child's Guiding Principle and Progress Reports.  It is not open at this time but information will go out in the principal notes when that time comes. The web address to login to PowerSchool is http://ps.fps.k12.me.us
