Kathleen Parr welcomed everyone and excplained the purpose of the PTO in the high school.

- Spirit Store
Patty Weber gave us an update on the Spirit Store that is located in the old  lost and found at the high school. Sales are going well and more items are arriving all the time. The hope is to have different booster organizations take over the store to raise money. Volunteer help is needed during lunch time to sell items. The items are reasonably priced and the quality is high. Stop buy for sme pre-holiday shopping.

-Background Checks
Forms were sent home about background checks for all volunteers at all of the schools. These are available at all schools and the superintendent's office. These forms will now be part of the volunteer packet. All paper work is confidential.

-New Schedule
The new schedule is going well, but there are still a few kinks to resolve. Teachers are adjusting to their 80 minute blocks and seeking advice from each other. Parents should know that the bus arrives at the regular time on delayed start days. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria during that time.

-Enrichment
On Wednesdays the students are enjoying a change of pace with their teachers during enrichment. This is a great way for the students to have fun and break up their week.

-Junior priviledges
A group of juniors have been working to obtain junior priviledges for the class.  Positive and negative opinions were expressed. There will be a forum on Monday October 2 at 6:00 in the theatre. All are encouraged to attend.

Mum Sale and Wrapping paper sale at the elementary. Look on the website.

Next meeting possibly December 6. Check the website.
