Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI - will host a number of admissions programs for students and parents in June, July, & August, 2005. All programs will begin at 1 pm and consist of a panel presentation and a tour. The dates during which the admissions program will be in operation are: June on Wednesdays and Fridays -- July on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from July 19 through August the program will run everyday . Choices Software for Post Secondary Planning - We have worked with students for the past several years using Choices software provided through the Department of Labor. We have now subscribed to echoices and encourage students and parents to use this resource to help firm up post secondary plans. As we start to receive reqeusts from college admissions representatives, we will list dates and times.

CONTESTS:

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Maine Scholarship Contest – NAMI, the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Maine, offers a scholarship contest that is open to minority, refugee and immigrant students. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student that provides the award-winning project on science based mental health issues affecting minorities, refugees and immigrants. Registration Deadlines for 2004-05 SAT's: Each test has a registration deadline well in advance of the test so be sure to carefully check the registration deadline date. The closest test sites to Falmouth are Portland High School and Deering High School (Falmouth is not a test site.). Test Dates and Registration Deadlines:
